About Us

Who We Are
Forum for Safe Motherhood represents a people led movement for reproductive, maternal & new-born health & rights. The Forum brings together public health experts, safe motherhood activists, researchers and representatives from the media that are committed to safe motherhood in Pakistan.

Convening power, evidence-enriched technical capacity, and the ability to link communities, implementers and policy makers is what makes Forum effective. Whereas, complementing advocacy with accountability, bringing community voices together and moving toward multi-sectoral approaches underline all Forum's operations.

The Forum is a member of the White Ribbon Alliance (WRA) which is a globally connected grassroots movement advocating for the health and rights of women and newborns.
